On May 5, 2020, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and seven companies jointly announced the recall of approximately 4.7 million blenders sold in the United States. The companies, including Aldi, Cost Plus World Market, CostCo, Harmon Face Values, Target,Walmart and Bed Bath & Beyond, sold the blenders between April 2018 and October 2019.
The full-sized (40-ounce) Ninja® Professional Blenders BL660 have been recalled due to a risk of lacerations when the blender is used with a single-serve cup. The recalled blenders have model number BL660 printed on the bottom of the motor base. $59.99 was listing price for the recalled blenders.
Customers should immediately stop using the recalled blenders and contact SharkNinja for a free replacement blade. The recall involves all units with the model number BL660. Full refund or store gift card is also available depending on the preference of the customer.
