    Dozens of Indian nationals in Italy freed from ‘slave-like’ working conditions on farms, police say

    That’s really unfortunate news. Enforced labor under inappropriate conditions is very concerning and against human rights. However, it’s good to hear that the authorities took action and freed these individuals from such inhuman circumstances. Now, these workers can hopefully be assisted in recovering from their ordeal and be provided with the support they need. The incident might also highlight the urgent need for authorities worldwide to work more diligently to combat human trafficking and any kind of forced, ‘slave-like’ labor.
