With the help of friends and volunteers, he manages to distribute approximately 60 meals per day. Every afternoon, they pack a van with hot meals and bottled water, before driving around to ensure those who are homeless or disadvantaged get at least one hot meal a day.
The cheerful cook also documents his efforts on TikTok, where he has amassed over 66,000 followers. His short videos showcase the cooking process and the delivery of meals. Anis hopes his page can bring more awareness to the plight of the homeless, especially during the pandemic which has made life even more difficult for them.
